Well heres what happened. Round 26, someone quit out the previous round (they had the Acid Gat) and another teammate had not played the past round or two. Me and another dude was holding it down by By the Jugg door on the opposite side of Jugg. I went down and dude opened the door to escape. I thought my Electric Cherry failed me here but I would have to go back and watch for sure I could have just f'd up. It was my first down and I got myself up and got Jugg and all my perks.
The round ended and I was out of ammo so I went for the box (it was at the top of the spiral starcase). I got the Blunder. First time I had it in a co op game and even tho someone quit and another wasnt playing I was still pumped.
So I ran by DT2 and passed my one teammate still playing and procceded thru the door to go upstairs. A big ass hoarde meet me right before I could even go thru the door so I started busting the Blunder. All is well so I start to push thru the doorway to go upstairs and they are still coming. No big deal with the Bunder and EC except by now my EC totally quit working. The Blunder was UnPaP so I was reloading like a mofo. Due to no EC I went down (ironically by the very last zombie in my way). I was like wtf. I mean I fired off probably 10 shots with the Blunder with no effect. Didnt stun one zombie and they were all around me.
My teammate got me up but went down in the proccess and quit. So I trucked on deteremined to get perked back up with EC and try this again.
Got perked up and ran to the catwalk where you can go downstairs to the Laundry room. I was on the catwalk right wher eyou can jump down. Blasted and blasted and everything worked fine. I stood there and killed a bunch of zombies.
Had to jump down so I circled back around stopping every now and then to turn and blast. Was out of ammo on my other gun (VoJ). Stood in the same spot on the catwalk and blasted again only this time my EC stopped working again. So I got tagged a few times and jumped down and got tagged again and that was game over.
So maybe you can use EC to much and it has to cool down? Or maybe its gitched? This is the only time its happened to me.
