When you buy a perk, you will gain it's ability but the symbol will appear faded in color. Each perk would have a certain "task" or "catch" to it that will fill the symbol with it's color. When full, the perk glows and has a "secret ability" that activates for a short time. For example getting hit without going down would fill up the juggernog symbol red, and when full could give you invincibilty for a few seconds. Use your imagination for the other perks. The fun would be trying to figure out how to fill the symbols and discovering what they do. They could even be used to solve an Easter Egg if Treyarch wanted to get crazy.
