Ever since the release of the original black ops, people have wanted a zombies only game. However many, including myself, have doubted this will happen because it seemingly would be bad for business as multiplayer/campaign fans would likely not but the game. However, I think this year (2015), it is actually very likely.
Since this will be treyarchs first year on next gen consoles, this provides great oppurtunity. Many either sold their old consoles or simply do not want to play them anymore since the release of the next gen consoles, but they still enjoy the old zombies maps. I believe treyarch could easily do something similar to what halo did with the master chief collection. If you are not familiar, the master chief collection contained all 4 halo games from old consoles and repackaged them on the new system so they could still be played on newer consoles, I belive this new zombies game could do the same, and package all the old maps, nacht er un toten to origins, together with one new map as well. Then each dlc would contain one new zombies map as normal. This would cover the zombies gamemode of this disc.
The game would still have campaign and multiplayer, however. The campaign would be simple- it would play like a standard cod campaign, but only would follow the zombies storyline. campaign and zombies fans would enjoy this mode.
Multiplayer, however, would not be as simple. It would still be competitive, and play like any other MP, but would have ai zombies running around the map as well. For example, in a standard 6 v 6 match, there would be 12 or so zombies rinning around the map as small, easy to kill, yet still dangerous, obstacles, that could prevent camping. When they die, they just respawn in a little later.
